The Effect of Psychodramatic Short term Group psychotherapy in Normal College Students

Abstract

|
We investigated with change in elements of personality can take place through twelve-Psychodrama Sessions, by evaluating TAT results individually in the system of Bellak. We also examined which of the curative factors of Yalom's is helpful to
participants.
Twelve college students of normal group were voluntarily chosen as subjects.
1) The result of TAT analysis and comparison.
In six of them, the conflict between Dependence on and independence from parents and conflict of identity have been found to take place, and self-assertiveness has been observed to arise.
These phenomena have something similar to the content of psychodrama sessions. In three of twelve, their conflicts have been clarified more, and self-expressiveness and self-receptivity have been observed to develop.
Four of them have been found using more mature defeneses than their former defenses. But one of them has been found using less mature defeneses.
2) The study of Yalom's curative factors.
University self-understanding and existential aware are highly valued as the most effective group psychotherapeutic factors.
Identification, guidance and altruism are valued as least effective group psychotherapeutic factors.
